Hey Curvy Girly’s,
I love playing with color on my eyes but since I’m dark skin, I prefer colors that compliment my skin tone and this Daytime Purple Eye Look does the job. Now, there are many that would say you can wear anything. That’s true, you can. However, if you want to find colors that allow your skin to glow and to bring out the color of your eyes then you have to choose carefully.
I love a purple eye, because it can be worn for daytime using a light hand, and blending well. Or you can wear it at night with deep a purple and add some black to smoke it out. In this makeup Daytime Purple Eye Look tutorial, I’m showing you a great Purple eye that can be worn for the day. It’s fun, easy and simple using a few colors to bring out the look. If you want to wear this at night, add a black eyeliner at the top lash line, even a cat eye, add some black at the outer “V” of the eye and blend to create a smokey eye look.
Here are a few tips for creating a beautiful Daytime Purple Eye Look:
1. Use a primer or pencil that picks up color nicely, such as NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk.
2. Use NYX Jumbo Pencil only in the area where you will be placing the color, to help that purple pop.
3. Use a cream shadow in a similar color as your purple shadow and set your cream shadow with a matte shadow in a similar color.
4. Blend, Blend, Blend…This is so important for creating beautiful eye looks, BLEND!
