Hey Loves!

Happy New Year! Wow, can you believe that we are already 20 days into the new year! If your planner looks anything like mine than you’ve been busy too. When I’m busy, I still want to look well put together for meetings, work, etc and this everyday makeup look can give you that finished put together polished look!

I’ve found that if I take a few simple tricks, I can look fresh with a glow in minutes! Instead of using foundation, I will use a concealer that will help color correct and give me light coverage. I’ve found that the MAC Cosmetics Prolong Wear Concealer in NW50 works exceptionally well for me. I place this under my eyes, around my mouth and a little on cheek bones, the areas where my skin tone is a little darker. I blend this out very well, which gives me a look of wearing foundation.

For my eyes, I keep it simple and layer two colors. I place soft brown all over my entire eye and Cocoa Bear in my crease. I will then go back over just my lid area with the soft brown to brighten the eye and give me a more awake look. Complete the eye with mascara.

For lips, I change-up the color depending on my mood, I love a neutral lip but a nice bold lip will also give you a very finished looked with minimal effort.

What makeup items can you not leave the house without wearing? Mines is definitely brow powder/pencil. I have to shape my brows!
