Hey Loves,

I love this time of the year, so I wanted to create a Holiday Makeup look that celebrated the winter season but was wearable for everyday and special occasions. This look is subtle enough to wear to work but glam enough to be ready for the after work holiday cocktail party.

The look is easy and with only a few colors on the eyes and keeping the face simple. I used a concealer to help blend out any dark circles and blemishes, and tried the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in Rich Mahogany. I picked up a sample of the cosmetic counter and this is a great way to try out a foundation before purchasing it. Now that I’ve had the opportunity to test out the foundation, I will definitely stop by the counter to make a purchase. Be sure to check out the video to see how well this foundation blended out and covered.

The holidays shouldn’t be too stressful and I think this easy makeup look, will help to relieve the tension of coming up with a look for the occasion. This can easily become a “go to” look for the holidays.

What are some easy tricks that you used to reduce the stress of your holiday look?

  1. Love the makeup and bun, but I’m not a fan of the dress. I would have liked to see her in a pecinl skirt to accentuate her curves maybe or a peplum skirt would’ve been cute too. This dress is kind of “Christmas party-ish” and looks like something a teenager might wear. 🙁
