Hey, Curvy Crew!
One of the biggest combats for ladies and gentlemen that wear their hair natural is dryness. This has been my biggest problem since I became natural 6 years ago. With the Big Chop, I noticed that it was difficult to keep my hair moisturized. Due to the dryness, my hair started to shed a lot, my ends were constantly in need of a trim and I started to notice breakage.
Although my hair looked great in pictures, it was a different story when it came to wash day. So, I decided to big chop again! If you haven’t checked out my video on my 2nd big chop, be sure to click here. Anyways, this time around my goal is to find what works for my hair, keep it moisturized and healthy.
My goal is to allow my hair to flourish without too much manipulation. I will focus my styles on wash n’ go’s and mini afros so that my natural curl pattern will be the main focus. In order for me to achieve this, I know that keeping my hair moisturized is the most important aspect of this journey.
I’ve recently found several products ranging from Conditioners, Hair Masks and Stylers that I think will be a great addition to my hair regimen and I want to share them with you. The great part about all of these products is that most of them can be found at your local drugstore, so you don’t have to break the bank to have healthy hair.
Below is a list and links to all the products, but you can also see my thoughts on each of the products by watching our video!
