Noooo…The weekend is over and it’s back to reality. It seems like you walk out of the work on Friday evening, blink and it’s Monday. I must say that I had amazing weekend and by the title you are probably wondering what I mean by”Camera-licious”. Well, let’s recap what happen and you’ll see why I have this title.
I love waking up on Saturday without an alarm and being able to lay in the bed and just have a conversation with God. I prayed, read the bible and enjoyed a cup of coffee, but that didn’t last long because I had an appointment to go see my amazing barber to get my undercut freshened up. I love the barbershop because it’s truly a Man’s Domain but hearing a mans prospective on women and life is interesting. I didn’t get a detailed design as I normally do, but I did get this cute little design on the side. What do you think?
After the haircut, it was time for the “Camera-licious” portion of my day. As you know I love blogging and being behind the camera is my comfort zone, but I had the opportunity to be in front the camera in a more professional capacity. I did a 70’s theme fashion photo shoot and I was nervous but I had so much fun. I’m not by any means a model but it was fun to pretend for a day. The shoot took place in Long Beach, Ca on 2nd street, which has lots of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. We also took some pictures near the canals and they turned out great! I can ‘t wait to show you guys the photos, I was able to see a few unedited pics and they look amazing!
On Sunday, I was back behind the camera at the Afrolicious Hair event in Los Angeles, Ca. You’re going to love the full recap because the Natural hair Panel had some amazing women that I was able to get some one on one time with. I also ran into some of our favorite bloggers such as CurlyKimmieStar, CKeyBeauty, and 4TheLoveOfCurls, so you’ll be able to see some pics and details. Being behind the camera felt good and I have some great stuff planned for blog this week. Tune in Tuesday, for “Haute Hair” from Afrolicious and on Wednesday, I’ll have the full recap.
So, yes, I was camera-licious this weekend…In front and behind the camera! I pray that you have an amazing week, be productive and successful.
