Retro Glam Updo for Natural hair

With the holidays, busy schedules and parties galore, I’m here to show you guys a quick and easy Retro Glam Updo that is perfect for those holiday parties.

What I love about this look is that I’m using a Twist-Out that is almost two weeks in the picture, but the Inspired Beauty products give my hair life! This twist out started out as flat twists which I wore out for several days, because I was lazy and didn’t wash my hair I decided to use the Inspired Beauty Sweet Tea. I spritzed a little on my hair, detangled and add some chunky two strand twists.

When I took my hair out of the twist, I was amazed at the definition it had. I didn’t had any creams, butters or gel, just the Sweet Tea. Yes, this is officially a staple item in my natural hair arsenal. With s much definition, I didn’t want to lose that texture. So, I decided to wear my hair in this retro undo, which is absolutely perfect for that spur of the moment holiday party.

All you need for this look is a brush and some bobbi pins to secure the hair. As you’ll see in the video, I like to start from the front to give the shape that I’m looking for, then I move to back. This method helps me achieve the particular look that I had in mind.
